Leonardo da Vinci said, “Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence.”

If you want to develop effective relationships, you must build trust.

To build trust, you must listen.

Every relationship is about trust, regardless it is work or personal

When the person realizes, you are listening to them, they will listen to you.

Every opportunity I get to share thoughts on communication, I include the topic of listening.

There is a great perspective when we listen and I end up saying “I did not know this” or “I learn something new today”.

Listening to someone silently does not mean I agree with the person totally, it allows me to know there are more things than what I already know.

We say we listen, are we listening to understanding or are we listening to respond?

LISTEN and SILENT are spelled with the same words, and when paired up the results are healthy communication.
